When a Japanese American boy turns up, Bird quickly befriends him. Kenji has suffered losses himself and he understands Bird's feelings. When Bird sees a mysterious shape in the bay, Bird and Kenji decide to find out what is going on. By the time they realize what is going on, it is almost too late. The last thing Bob wanted was to move to a creaky old house at the very end of town. At least they have an indoor bathroom. They also have a crazy neighbor. If their house was creaky, Mrs. Dowdel was about ready to fall over. Then there is Mrs. Dowdel herself. While Bob tries to stay as far away as possible, his youngest sister falls in love with Mrs. Dowdel. Soon she is wandering around acting as strange as Mrs. Dowdel. But then Bob finds himself hog tied in Mrs. Dowdel's outhouse. Rather than make a fuss, Mrs. Dowdel helps him down, and helps him get even. As the holidays approach, Bob and his family begin to form a different picture of crazy old Mrs. Dowdel and of the town itself.

In this sequel to Found, the adventure picks up right where the last broke off, as two sort-of princes and Jonah and Katherine are falling through time back to the 14th century. Jonah and Katherine have to help Chip and Alex, or their historical counterparts, stay alive when Prince John is trying to kill them and steal the throne. Then, they still have to reset the messed-up past. Sound complicated? It is! But if you read both volumes, the author explains time travel in a really cool way and there's lots of adventure as the kids all try to stay alive.

President Barack Obama's first words to America are illustrated in this delightful book. Here, President Obama brings us his vision of a united country. The paintings by illustrator Greg Ruth are not only stunning but greatly enhance the President's speech of a better today and a stronger tomorrow through his insightful artistic talent. As the President addresses millions of people at the Capital in Washington, D.C., the artist records those very words of determination and hope by bringing them to life through his art.
