What an enchanting wordless book this is! A little girl goes to the beach with her mother. The story focuses on the interplay between the little girl and the sea wave as it comes and goes. At first she is tentative approaching the wave and as she becomes more comfortable, she even sticks out her tongue when the wave becomes bigger. Although it overcomes her, it leaves behind the gift of seashells. Accompanying the girl is a flock of sea gulls who mirror the girl's action. A book to read with your eyes and tell the story with your voice!
