After a long time away, Christopher Robin is coming back to the Hundred Acre Wood. There he will find all his old friends, and even a new friend. Lottie the Otter joins the others just as Christopher Robin returns from school. Soon the adventures begin. Whether it is learning to play cricket or having a spelling bee, one thing is certain, our old friends are just as magical and as comforting as they were in the original stories.

This is a fun interactive book with Helen Oxenbury's great illustrations. As you read, act the book out with exaggerated movements. Slap hands on thighs to represent walking. Swishy swashing - brush hands together. Splash splosh - pretend to swim. Squelch squerch - pretend your feet are stuck in the mud as you make the squishy sounds. Stumble trip - stumble while walking. Hooo wooo - pretend the snow is falling. Tiptoe tiptoe - tiptoe in an exaggerated way. This title helps kids become storytellers.

Well, this was a great book because Dr. Dolittle talked to the animals. That was very surprising. He had to go all the way to Africa to help the sick monkeys get better. My favorite character was Polynesia the Parrot and Chee Chee the Monkey.

I though it was soothing and relaxing to read. I liked it. Fredrick collected all the sight, sounds and tastes of summer because he would go into the dark cave of winter where it would be dark, cold and snowy and the colors would be washed out. He was able to share with his friends what he had seen, smelled and heard during the summer. At the end he took a bow.

I liked this book because she had some pretty good cures for kids. Whenever a child had a problem, Mrs. Piggle Wiggle could cure them. Like the Never-Want-To-Go-To-Bedders. Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle said to let the kids stay up as late as they wanted. So the kids stayed up playing games. So the kids got sleepier and sleepier. Finally, the kids decided to go to bed early.

It taught me lessons about life such as being happy with what I have or you might not be happy with what you thought wanted. There was a dog with a steak looking at his reflection and wanted a bigger steak and wind up losing it when it fell in the water.

The cat's meow was funny. It was funny when the mouse fell into the matchbox. I liked that the cricket, mouse and cat were friends.

This is a triumphant journey by an oblivious chicken. The fox, who is never mentioned in the text, finds all kinds of unexpected hazards in his way as he attempts to catch Rosie, and yet Rosie never realizes the danger she is in, or the lucky events that keep her safe. Children will find a satisfying challenge predicting what's next in this story.
