Something terrible has happened at the zoo! All of the animals are sick. They have a green hue and fevers of one hundred and two. The lions won't roar, the tigers can only mew, and the hyenas are crying boo-hoo. It all began when Felicity Floo came to the zoo with a cold and spread green, gloopy goo all over the zoo animals. You'll enjoy this rhyming trip to the zoo with Felicity Floo. Librarian review

When you are a kid, people expect a lot from you. You have to be polite and take your manners with you everywhere. Wouldn't being a pig be better? When you are a pig, you have to be dirty. Or what about snail or an elephant. They certainly don't have to be polite. Maybe even a monkey. That would be cool. Wouldn't it be better to be anything besides a polite child? Librarian review

What can bones tell us? Surprisingly enough, quite a lot. In recent years, several groups of archeologists have been working in America, exploring the lives of the first English settlers. Not much is known about these people. Very little was ever written down. Every time they find a grave, they add to our knowledge of life during this time period. For example, they can tell what people ate back then by measuring chemicals in the bones. They can also tell what jobs they did and how long they lived. In some cases, they can even find out who they were. In this way, the bones speak, describing a life very different from the one we live now. Librarian review
