If you like graphic novels with HILARIOUS characters, then you'll LOVE Babymouse!!!!!! She's always messing up, and EVERYONE makes fun of her "all over the place," whiskers! I wonder if you'll go along with Babymouse, and agree that Felicia Furrypaws is the WORST animal/person EVEER!! IT has the author making comments, and maybe even you too making comments to everything she says! This book will make you LOL and make you feel sad for her,...."Typical"...According to me, that's Babymouse's FAVORITE response to pretty much EVERTHING!!!!!!!

From acclaimed author Roddy Doyle comes a lovely and deceptively simple story about family, love, life, death, and the power of memory. While this book is a short, quick read, it holds an unforgettable message that is well worth sharing with the entire family. This honest multigenerational story focuses on twelve-year old Mary, a sassy but smart preteen, her mother Scarlett, who ends every sentence with an exclamation point, her grandmother Emer, who is slowly fading in her hospital bed, and Emer's mother Tansey, a ghost who died young. Tansey has come back to help Emer cross over, and Mary and Scarlett come along for the ride on a midnight road trip into the past that helps Emer come to terms with her long life, and ultimately, with her death. By turns funny, touching, heartbreaking, and uplifting, this book is a standout for its keen characterization, snappy dialogue (complete with Irish dialect and nuances), and its universal message of the importance of family and memories in shaping our personalities and our lives. The book hello mrs piggle wiggle is about a fun strange old lady who loves childeren and understands them. She gives them cures to help them behave beter. For example, philip carmody turns into a show off and she gave him this show off powder which made him stop showing off. I would recomend this book to anyone who loves funny children books but this book did keep going on and on and didnt get to the point. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars.

Ever wonder what the characters in books are doing when you aren't reading they're book? They are waiting for you to come back! Some characters aren't as patient as others, and the bunny in this book is about as impatient as can be. You better hurry up and get to reading! He hates to wait! Librarian review
