Kat spends her days trying to be invisible. To make matters worse, now Kat can see dead people too. In fact, she sees them all over. Kat is not sure she wants to help the dead like her mom. When Kat meets Jac, she finally finds a true friend. Jac does not seem to mind Kat's unique gift. In fact when a dead girl appears at school and asks Kat for help, Jac volunteers to help her.
