I really liked this book because it was really interesting to learn about farming and horses. Almonzo got $200, and Bill Ritchie got whipped with a blacksmith whip. And Almonzo got to keep a horse. And they had a big garden. Almonzo went to the county fair, and his pumpkin won first prize.

I think it was funny, because almost in all the pages they do something dumb and fool around. Wiley and Jubal were doing their science homework. But then they add TABASCO sauce. Then Something went wrong a ball of fire shot over their heads, soared across the room...and landed on grampa's foot, which burst in flames. There gramma told them to dispose their new compound, which they called ppk. Next they were having a bbq. Many people came even lunch lady came and brought spicy beet borscht, (that's ice-cold beet soup. Then something weird happens zombies were coming.The lunch lady was so scared she dropped the soup which made the zombies melted.
