What is BookBuzz? BookBuzz is a database of children's books designed for children ages birth through twelve, their parents, teachers or anyone interested in reading about children's books. BookBuzz contains hundreds of recommended book reviews in a variety of reading levels and interest areas. The books found in BookBuzz have all been read and reviewed by librarians to help you, the user, choose just the right book from thousands of children's books available at the Denver Public Library. Users can search for books by author, title, reading level, interest area, and even number of pages.

How do I use it?

• You can access BookBuzz from Parents', Teachers' or the Kids' page. Each page has been tailored with the most popular subject requests made to librarians from that group. You will also see at the bottom of the page a "more subjects" link that will show you all subjects available in parents', teachers' and kids' pages.
• Clicking on a subject will give you the opportunity to narrow your search by age group.
• You may also search by author, title or keyword in the search box at the top of the page.
• Clicking on a book cover or title will take you to the kids' catalog where you may place a hold or check availability and find the book on the shelf.
• Post your own review about a book that is in BookBuzz that you or your child have read.
