Adults + Kids + Libraries = Student Success

Collaboration
Teachers give homework to find out what children know, not what their homework helper knows. However, caring and involved adults are imperative to children's learning success. How can adults collaborate with kids to increase academic success?
- Choose a time that's good for the child and stick to it daily
- Provide a quiet, well-lit space that is comfortable to the child
- Store adequate supplies in a consistent place for easy access
- Direct children to reliable resources (provided below)
- Compassion: there will be battles; let the child make mistakes
