This collection of princess stories is very unique! These princesses are not like other princesses and are much more like regular people. Princess Grace is clumsy. Princess Wendy runs away from her Frog Prince because he was really much better as a frog. Princess Greta finds a new use for a pesky dragon. Princess Rose loves chocolate even more than I do. I like how the words dance across the page and colorful illustrations! This is the best princess book ever! Librarian review

Anabel is a seamstress. She wants desperately to sew a dress for the princess. When the princess spills juice on her dress, Anabel gets her chance. She gets to sew a dress for the butterfly ball. There is only one problem. There is a hinky pink in her room at the palace. The hinky pink keeps Anabel awake all night, pinching her and throwing her covers on the floor. The ball gets closer and closer, and Anabel is too tired to sew. She must do something about that hinky pink. She decides to try and make the hinky pink a bed of its own. But what kind of bed would a hinky pink like? Anabel has only a few days to figure that out before it will be too late for the princess and for Anabel. Librarian review

A twist on the fairytale classic The Princess and the Pea, this book is sure to capture the hearts of the mathematically inclined. The story features three princesses instead of one, in addition to four horses, five dogs, six grooms, seven gardeners, and many more opportunities for adding and subtracting to your heart's delight. This is a fun book that would work well as an enhancement to an elementary classroom math lesson while at the same time providing a nice reading adventure. Librarian review

I really liked this book because it takes classic fairy tale princesses and takes you back to when they were ten or eleven and still attending princess school. I recommend this book for girls 8-11 and for people who love fairy tales. It's great to read when you feel adventurous. In this book Ella goes to princess school as a first year bloomer. She feels totally of place until she becomes friends with Snow, Rose, and Repunzel. Ella's new friends make school alot better. But can they help Ella make it through her stepsisters meaness in time for the ball?

Isabelle is a lacemaker in a French village outside the palace of Versailles during the time of Marie Antoinette. One day when she is visiting her brother who works as a groom in the palace stables, Isabelle meets the princess Therese and they become friends. Soon Isabelle gets to play at the palace every day instead of making lace. It seems like the perfect life until the people of France start to revolt against the king. What will happen to the king's family? What will happen to Isabelle? This is an exciting look at an important historical time. Librarian review
