The little girl follows the path of a colorful peacock and her imagination goes wild with all of the different animals in the zoo. Meanwhile her parents have a different adventure looking all over the zoo for their wondering child. Contrasting illustrations and very few words make this book an imaginative and realistic read!

Jamie Reardon has heard that bad things come in 3's. His Aunt Sapphy gets hit in the head at the cherry factory where she works and can't form new memories; his cat Mister dies; and his dad leaves, forcing Jamie and his mom to move in with Aunt Sapphy. Jamie believes the clich??? until the 4th bad thing happens. He spends his free time trying to help his aunt jump the scratch in her brain and regain her memory. He does not fit in at his new school and has no friends until he meets Audrey Krouch, who hypnotizes him and helps him face why he hates the taste of butterscotch and the bad thing that happened to him because of Mr. Gray.
